DEGREE OF CHRISTIAN COUNSELING

The degree of Christian Counseling embraces counseling in which Christian and biblical principles are used to guide the counseling process.  Our goal for this degree course at every level from associate's to doctorate is to train pastors, counselors, missionaries and lay counselor's to:

1. Help overcome personal and interpersonal problems using a spiritual and faith based approach.
2. Help couples heal and stregthen their marriages.
3. Assist with children and parenting responsibilities.
4. Build communication skills.
5. Conflict managemement.

This degree course is offered as a hybrid of both online and/or on campus training.  Our current on campus training is Saturday's starting at 12:30p.m.  Our counseling lab and case studies are scheduled on intervals of  bi-weekly and monthly.  Each student will be given the opportunity to provide supervised Christian counseling (free of charge to the client) based on client availability throughout the duration of the course.  The cost for this degree is $3,999 for each degree level.  Example if you are seeking a Bachelor's then the cost is $3,999x2 for a total of $7,998.  Ask about our payment options and scholarships available to assist with course cost.

DEGREE OF BIBLICAL STUDIES

The degree of Biblical Studies is designed to strengthen your understanding of biblical knowledge, theology and ministry application.  You will understand the history, context and message of the bible more deeply and explore answers to signigficant questions on life and purpose.

1. Study historical and theological developments in Christianity.
2. Examine the content of Psalms & Proverbs and their application in modern culture.
3. Learn methods to help you study and teach the bible more effectively.
4. Prepares you for ministry roles.

Those students who reach the Master's or Doctorate degree level in any ministry degree chosen must complete a (Sermon and Thesis if Biblical Studies Student) or (Case Study and Thesis if Christian Counseling Student) to earn your degree.  Sermons and case studies may be performed at your church of choice with approval of the church and ABM University Theological Seminary.
